Dallas, TX, May 11, 2012 – We are one! On May 9, 2012, members of Amigos Library Services voted to approve the merger of Amigos and the St. Louis-based Missouri Library Network Corporation (MLNC). The results of the vote were announced during Amigos' Annual Member Business Meeting. The merger will become effective on July 1 with the beginning of fiscal year 2012/13. The message from current Amigos members to current MLNC members is "Welcome aboard!"

Amigos is partnering with Gale to bring you their newest database, National Geographic Magazine Archive, 1888-1994. This database provides 106 years of publishing history in a complete, full text electronic format that is a great resource for researchers of all ages, as well as an interesting collection for general readers. It is a complete archive of the magazine to the mid-1990’s and is fully searchable.
