Amigos Library Services and Missouri Library Network Corporation Announce Agreement to Explore Merger

Dallas, TX — Amigos Library Services, a leading library membership organization based in Dallas, and the Missouri Library Network Corporation (MLNC), a similar St. Louis-based library membership organization, today announced that they have entered into a working agreement to explore merging operations.

The Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) encourages Texas libraries to apply now for Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Grant funding for the 2013 fiscal year. The grants are administered by TSLAC and funded by LSTA through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

Amigos Gives Away Color E-readers at ALA

Amigos is pleased to announce the winners of our e-reader giveaway held during the recent American Library Association Midwinter Meeting 2012 in Dallas. Amigos gave away an e-reader each day during the exhibit portion of the conference. The winning names were drawn from among the staff of Amigos member institutions who registered at the Amigos booth in the exhibit hall.
